Subject: Breeze and Breathe.
I'll never forget the moment. They opened with Breathe and the most beautiful breeze soared through the crowd. It was a truly divine moment before they had even finished playing the first minute. It was as if the elements heard the message of the song and delivered the breeze for all of us to breathe in the cosmic air.. Oh yes, the spirits were certainly out and active for this sunset show. The presence of everything was so unique and quite simply perfect. By the end of the show, we were all so blown away, it took us a moment to remember that we were at this music festival in northern minnesota.

A+ show, the sound is not the best. Thank you to everyone who made this happen. Thanks to the tapers. Keller and Cheese together is such a beautiful love child. This was the first and only time i've heard them play a whole set together, and the experience is nothing like hearing them play 3 or 4 songs together.

This was just my fourth incident and I remember thinking before the show that Nershi would be put to the side, because he and keller both play acoustic guitar. Boy, was i wrong! Nershi busted out the lap steel and was soloing like a madmen on his acoustic martin. I had no idea he was capable of shredding like that! He was definitely the MVP of the set. During his solo, i had such an incredible peak experience. To borrow from a review of the famous tabernacle show from 11/17/00, the review said this was the night i realized "billy was my daddy"... Well sir, I know exactly what you mean, because I felt the exact same way after experiencing this very incident.

It's there where the fun begins and the things we see in the clouds become real.

Subject: great set, sounds ok
the sound quality was an issue with the outdoor venue's PA, not the recorder (SCI came out the previous night to chants of "turn it up!"). aside from this, the setlist and playing were just plain brilliant - you gotta hear Sing for my Dinner. if only there was a way to capture that beautiful MN day on tape! "damn, that breeze feels so good!"

Subject: oh yeah!
not only was this a great show, but keller and Cheese are usually great together, so i wasn't surprised..
audio's pretty good, although i wish a touch more crisp.. i'm a fan of live audio so i wasn't disappointed.
